NURSERY SCHOOL 2010 / PUBLIC COMPETITION
A project about designing a nursery centre, in a relatively new housing area in the recent greater Athens land use plan. The new nursery was expected to accommodate both infants and young children, within a site bordering school blocks. The approach taken responds to existing requirements for safety, control and access but also to all requirements emerging when designing for young children: indoor, they are given a high level of comfort and safety within naturally lit, pleasant enclosures; outdoor they experience and enjoy a green roof terrace, whereas the ground level is designed to be a safe, amusing playground for recreation.
under Mrs K. supervision : member of team, involved with design through all stages, responsible for elevation design, drafting and presentation.
